Just in: Gunmen kill 3 monarchs in shootout

Outrage in Imo state as suspected gunmen killed three monarchs in a shoot out.

Congress gathered that three traditional rulers in Imo State have been allegedly shot dead by suspected gunmen on Tuesday afternoon.

It was learnt the royal fathers were having their meeting in Njaba Local Government Area of the state when the shooting occured.

Meantime, the cause of the incident is still unknown at time of filing this report.

According to the Chairman, Traditional Rulers Council in the State, Eze Emmanuel Okeke: “I have heard that some people were shot in the meeting in Njaba but I am trying to get the details.”
