JUST IN: Irate youths burn FRSC patrol vehicle

Suspected irate youths on Friday afternoon burnt a patrol vehicle of the Bauchi State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on the Bara-Gombe road.

In the attack which reportedly occurred at about 3:05 pm, FRSC officials were almost being lynched, according to the report.

FRSC source said the patrol team had an encounter with a Mitsubishi Pajero, with registration number BAU 976 HB.

“As a result of the encounter, the patrol vehicle was set ablaze and was burnt completely,” it stated.

According to the report, the offender had been arrested and was under police custody.
However, details of the attack are still unknown at the time of filling this report.
