The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has made registration mandatory for prospective students of the Nigerian Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and other distance learning centers.

Speaking further, it said candidates must provide their unique National Identification Number (NIN) during registration to curb fraudulent activities and ensure the integrity of records.

This directive applies to all candidates, including those in non-regular programs like distance learning, part-time, and sandwich programs.
