Just In: Kidnappers free 27 abducted students, 3 teachers in Kebbi

After about 120 days of the abduction of the Kebbi twenty three students and three teachers of Federal Government College, Birin Yauri, they were freed by their abductors.

It was learnt they arrived at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi at about 6pm on Thursday.

Source said the freed abductees include two girls, 25 boys, one female and two male teachers.

Governor Atiku Bagudu, maintained that efforts were ongoing to secure the release of the remaining students in captivity.

The governor said after thorough medical examination, the students and teachers would be re-united with their families.
