JUST IN: PDP chairman dies during campaign

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mr. SKB Ogbuagu, slumped and died during the campaign in the state on Thursday.

Congress gathered that Ogbuagu was the Acting Chairman of the party in the Udi Local Government Area of the State.

It was learned the deceased chairman collapsed during a town hall meeting of the Enugu governorship candidate, Barr. Peter Mbah at Ezeagu Local Government Area.

According to sources, Mr. Ogbuagu who was an asthmatic patient had a serious heart attack in the middle of the campaign, adding that he collapsed and died at a nearby hospital where he was rushed to.

However, the leadership of the party in the state led by Mr. Augustine Nnamani is yet to issue an official statement on his death.
