JUST IN: President Buhari bags Peace Award

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), received the African Award for strengthening peace in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania on Tuesday.

It was learned that the award was presented to him by the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum for his leadership role in promoting peace in Africa continent, through regular interventions, counsels and conciliatory positions.

According to the group, Buhari has done much more in keeping peace in the continent compared to other Africa leaders.
