JUST IN: Tinubu clinches Kwara Presidential Poll

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as the winner of the 2023 presidential election held in Kwara State last Saturday.

Following the INEC declaration, Tinubu scored 263,572 of the total votes cast in the presidential election exercise conducted across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.

While the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, scored 136,909 votes to emerge second and Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi scored 31,166 to come a distant third.
