The leader of the Ojobo Liberation Movement, Ndoni Timipre has expressed sadness over the unwarranted killing of two persons and burning of three houses during a community Amayanabo election in the Ojobo community in Burutu LGA, Delta State in the previous week.

Ndoni, who condemned the killing and burning of houses in the community, urged youths in the community to shun hatred and bitterness in communal politics and embrace total peace.

He stated that the youths should stop destroying properties which relatives had established with their hard-earned income, stressing that no community would develop in the face of rancour and conflicts.

The youth president maintained that the Ojobo community is one of the oldest and first civilized communities in western Ijaw since the colonial era, noting that youths in the community are expected to live exemplary life.

Ndoni advised youths of the Ojobo community to resort to dialogue and other peaceful means in resolving conflicts and disagreements in the community.

However, he asserted that the Ojobo Liberation Movement had come to stay, and the mission is to bring peace and unity and development to the indigenes.
