Kingship: Amatari hails Operemo screening cmte over peaceful delegates election

Following the alleged peaceful delegates election held in Operemo kingdom yesterday (May 4, 2023), the Chairman of Operemor Kingdom Elite People’s Forum, Chief John Amatari, has lauded High Chief Bare Etolor and his committee for the peaceful, fair and transparent delegates election.

This was contained in a statement signed by himself and sent to Congress correspondent in Warri, on Thursday afternoon.

According to him, “it’s a thing of joy when you see such a transparent election conducted by men of integrity and honesty, the people of Operemor Kingdom acknowledge the peaceful and transparent delegates election that took place in their communities yesterday. We however, use this medium to appreciate the Eleco chairman and his committee for free, fair and credible kingship delegates election to vote the incoming new King in the Kingdom.

The group alleged that the delegates election was peaceful and had been concluded.

“We pray to God Almighty to do the same in the anticipated open election during the process of selection of the king in the kingdom”, the averred.

But another report said the delegates screening process had been suspended by the Burutu LGA chairman following alleged looming crisis in the kingdom.
