Lawmaker Senator Lawal Usman commissions Solar Boreholes in Kaduna

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has commissioned the Salor Boreholes in Yakawada Giwa local government area of Kaduna state.

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman’s efforts to provide essential services like water to his constituents are part of his broader vision for development in Kaduna State. He highlighting the importance of access to clean water for the community and the country at large.

 

Giwa is one of the local government areas within Kaduna Central Senatorial District, which also includes Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Igabi, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, and Kajuru.

Senator Adamu Usman further explained, “water is a source of life, that is why we embark on constructing Solar boreholes in the entire local government area where by in each of the local government we select four places to construct these solar boreholes for the benefit of the community”.

Senator Lawal Usman, who is also the Chairman Senate committee on Primary and Secondary Education, opined, “apart from this we have laid the foundation for construction of 100 smart classrooms across this Senatorial district because education is the bedrock of any meaningful development”.

Earlier, the former speaker Kaduna state house of assembly Shehu Usman Tahir who represented the district head of Yakawada said, As a senator he has been committed to improving the lives of his constituents, and this project is a testament to that.

“The senator’s focus on water accessibility demonstrates his understanding of the basic needs of his constituents.By investing in infrastructure like Solar boreholes, this will to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life in the region.

“We’re appealing to the distinguished senator to please include Yakawada as one of the Ward to benefit from 100 smart school projects”.

Usman Tahir further described education as a key to any development, especially Primary school which is the basic foundation.
