A publisher and aspirant of Warri South West chairmanship race in Delta State, Prince Meshach Bebenimibo has emphasised that he will establish food bank and subside food for Warri South West People when elected into power.

Bebenimibo who was a former youth president of Kunukunuma Community, is a motivator and an author of motivational books.

He remarked that he is contesting for the position of the Chairman, of Warri South West Local Government Council for Trusted Leadership, Creation of massive job opportunities, Equality and Justice for the deprived masses of the council.

Bebenimibo promised to build warehouse in every kingdom that make up Warri South West Local Government Council to subsidise food items for the populace of the Council.

This was contained in a statement which he signed and issued to Congress news correspondent in Warri , Delta State on Sunday.

The statement reads, “I will create Food Bank where food items will be subsidised to cope with the economic reality of the day. I will subsidize the price of food commodities to make sure Warri South West Local Government populace get the best even in this tough economic.

“For example, if a bag of rice is being sold in the market for N70,000 naira, I will subsidise it to N50,000, with other items.

While stating emphatically that it was his turn to occupy the council chairman position, he berated what he described as a high level of poverty and lacked of infrastructural Development in the Warri South West Local Government Area over time.

He stated unequivocally that he had what it takes to bring all-round meaningful development to Warri South West Local Government Council.

While vowing to serve the council with honesty, sincerity and integrity, Bebenimibo promised to renovate the dilapidated schools and build more with modern facilities. “We will give out bursaries and scholarships to our teeming students”.

Bebenimibo appealed to all and sundry to support his ambition, adding he had a burning desire to add value to the lives and destinies of people in Warri South West Local Government Council and beyond.

However, Meshack Bebenimibo is a son of a foremost Gbaramatu leader, late Monday Bebenimibo, aka OKOROWOSO, a freedom fighter from Kunukunuma Community, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Meshack Bebenimibo, popularly known as Okorowoso as long indicated interest to run for the chairmanship position of the Warri South West Local Government Council.

He further stated, “I am contesting as Chairman, Warri South West Local Government Area for Trusted Leadership, Creation of Opportunities, Equality and Justice.

“The level of poverty and lack of infrastructural Development in the Warri South West Local Government area is appalling and needs urgent attention. That is why I am contesting for the Chairmanship position and by the grace of God it is my turn to occupy that position. I am the right man for the job.

“I have travelled to places across Nigeria where you will see series of meaningful governmental projects done by Local Government Chairmen.

“My Father, Monday Bebenimibo aka OKOROWOSO was a freedom fighter and Chief Priest who fought for the emancipation of Niger Deltans whose legacy lives on.

“During the Niger Delta struggle, while Okorowoso was the Chief Priest in Kunukunuma Community, he never lost any of his foot soldiers he prayed for. Though he has kicked the bucket, he deserves some accolades and reward system.

“Therefore, I appeal to all and sundry to support my ambition. I have a burning desire to add value to lives and destinies all over the world.

“As a creative thinker, I will make sure youths of Warri South West Local Government are carried along by creating a conducive environment where I will train and empower them to become global entrepreneurs.

“We will give out bursaries and scholarships to our teeming students.

“The elderly men and women will receive monthly stipends and empowerment.

“We will bring massive development to the communities that make up Warri South West Local Government Areas.

“I have come to serve with honesty, sincerity and integrity.”he added.
