Mama Toke-ere Ogei for burial Saturday Feb 11

The funeral rites of late mama Toke-ere Ogei has been announced jointly by her families.The burial rites would be taken place at her home town Aleibiri in Bayelsa State on Saturday 11th February, 2023.

This was made available to Congress correspondent in a statement signed by Hon. Prince Lawson Ogei for the children, Engr (Dr) Austen Pabor for the family and Dr Akpos Mezeh for the husband’s family.

Mama Toke-ere died on 12th August, 2022 at the age of 77 years after a brief illness which followed by a prompt medical interventions.

She is survived by 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 siblings, daughter in-laws, son in-laws and many relatives.

According to the statement, the body of late mama Toke-ere would leave Ofoni morgue, Bayelsa State to Tamigbe community in Burutu LGA for a brief traditional wake-keep on Saturday morning.

Thereafter the corpse will be moved to her home town Aleibiri town Bayelsa State for final funeral rites and interment.

The event would be anchored by Ijaw music icon, JKing Alfred Izonebi.

However, the statement invites the general public to grace the funeral service.
