Many killed, millions trapped in India, Bangladesh floods

Suspected lightning strikes and landslides triggered by severe monsoon storms have killed 59 people in India and Bangladesh.

It was also gathered that Millions of people have been trapped and stranded following heavy flood in both countries.

Source said the situation became frightened as emergency workers are struggling to reach those affected.

According to the Forecasters, the flooding is expected to get worse over the next few days.

However, Bangladesh government officials have described the recent flooding as the country’s worst since 2004.

Officials say, Some 3.1 million people were displaced in the region, officials said, with 200,000 of them now being housed in makeshift shelters on higher ground.
