Moni cautions against attack on Ogbuku, Otuaro, Lokpobiri, commends them on N’delta development

Chief Ebis Moni, a prominent leader and the Sukereowei 1 of Operemor Kingdom, has urged detractors to allow the current Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Samuel Ogbuku and the administrator of the presidential Amnesty programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro to focus on their developmental policies and programmes.
According to Moni, the NDDC MD is committed to delivering on his promises by engaging with all ethnic groups and their leaders to ensure the region’s development progresses unhindered.
He further pointed out that Dr Otuaro’s stakeholders meeting for PAP beneficiaries is an eye opener, adding that Niger Delta was lucky to have him to stair the ship of the amnesty programme.
He stressed that it was too early to criticise the NDDC MD and Otuaro’s efforts to get things better for the region. He called on all stakeholders to offer their support for the duo, acknowledging that the duo had the region’s best interests and development at heart.
However, Moni believed that with collective support, the NDDC MD and PAP administrator will succeed in driving meaningful growth and progress in the Niger Delta region.
In his statement, he said the ongoing NDDC stakeholders’ summit and the just concluded PAP stakeholders’ meeting showed that the NDDC MD and Otuaro are committed to providing sustainable peace and development for the Niger Delta people.
He further passed the vote of confidence on the president of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Jonathan Lokpobiri for his focused leadership, adding that Ijaw leaders and stakeholders will always stand by him to finish strong.
