More agony and pains for Nigerians seeking medical care as the National Association of Resident Doctors abandoned patients to their fate due to nationwide indefinite strike.

According to the report, only a few consultants and house officers were rendering skeletal services to patients.

At the time of this report, no appointments were given to patients as doctors were absent from their duty posts.

However, many patients were turned back including patients that need surgery.

Recall that the federal government had earlier announced a 25 per cent increase in Salary, which doesn’t still go well with the doctors.

The doctors maintained that either the federal government meets their demands or they continue with the strike.

It was reported that at LASUTH, a man who brought his mother to the hospital was asked to take her to another hospital.
