Foremost Niger Delta activist Comrade Ozobo Austin has said that Senator Akpabio’s resignation as Niger Delta Minister is a relief and hopes for a greater new beginning for the Niger Delta people.

It would be recalled that the Niger Delta minister God’swill Akpabio was accused of deliberately refusing to inaugurate the NDDC substantive board for over three years.

The aggrieved activist said it was God that tricked him into the presidential race, being the only option in which he could be pushed out of office.

He further said, “Akpabio is not a president material, and for him to say he wants to contest for president is the way of God to remove him from office for the common good of Niger Delta people.”

He stressed that God would disappoint Akpabio in his presidential ambition and makes him spend his alleged loots in NDDC and Niger Delta Ministry in vain.

“Akpabio thinks he is wiser, now himself and God who is the wisest?. God will use delegates and the cabals to manipulate him the way, he manipulated NDDC and Niger Delta region.

“As one good turn deserves another also one bad turn deserves another. Every man will reap what he or she sows.

“Akpabio will fail in his presidential ambition, and even a running mate slot he will not get. This is his turn to be disappointed. Niger Delta delegates who are part of those suffering from his bad governance will not vote for him at the APC primaries.

“The way he bastardised and jeopardized NDDC and Niger Delta Ministry, he will also receive his portion of shame and disgrace,” Ozobo added.
