The Managing Director and CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku has reiterated the commission’s dedication to completing capital projects that add value to the region.

Addressing stakeholders at the Niger Delta Stakeholders’ Pre-Summit Technical Session, Dr. Ogbuku emphasised that the NDDC will only approve projects that align with the 8-point presidential priorities and the NDDC Act of 2000.

Ogbuku promised stakeholders that the commission is dedicated to collaborating with state governors in the region as development partners, rather than competing against them. This partnership aimed to facilitate rapid progress in the Niger Delta region.

However, the NDDC’s renewed focus on capital projects and collaboration with state governments is expected to bring about significant improvements in the region’s infrastructure and economy.
