Nigerians can file complaints at police stations for free – Muyiwa Adejobi

The Nigerian Police Force has assured Nigerians that filing a complaint at any police station is free of charge.

This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer of the NPF, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Monday, 23rd October 2023.

Adejobi urged Nigerians to report any crime or misconduct to the authorities and not be afraid of being charged for doing so.

He said that the police are committed to serving the public and protecting their rights.

“It is important for Nigerians to know that they can file complaints at any police station without any charge,” Adejobi said.

“We encourage everyone to report any crime or misconduct they witness so that we can take action and bring the perpetrators to justice, ” he added
