Nollywood actor Dejumo Lewis passed away.

At the age of 80, the thespian, who primarily appeared in Yoruba films, passed away. Saidi Balogun, a coworker, verified Lewis’s passing on his Instagram page.

“Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace,” Balogun posted on the social media platform.

Lewis gained notoriety for his performances in the films Crossroads, A Place in the Stars, and Power of One, but he is best remembered for his portrayal as the Kabiyesi in The Village Headmaster.

Many performers have rushed to social media to express their grief for him, even though the cause of his death is yet unknown.
