The Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state, Amb. (Comr) Ozobo Austin has strongly condemned the killing of a father and son in the Toru-Angiama community in the Patani Local Government Area of Delta state on Monday.

This was made available to the Congress correspondent in a statement by himself in Warri on Monday night.

The Okowa’s aide while sympathizing with the families of the victims described the killing and abduction of suspected persons as most barbaric and provocative.

He urged the community residents to be vigilant as well as provide useful information to security agents to aid in the arrest of the fleeing suspected herdsmen.

He also said the community security guards including local vigilantes in the area should quickly go after the perpetrators and ensure that they are brought to book with all alacrity.

Ozobo further called on the Delta state Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali to swiftly deploy men of the command to fish out the perpetrators to enable them to face the music of the law.
