An Ondo-based pastor, Paul Oyewole, has been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly threatening to kill a magistrate, Mosunmola Ikujuni.

Oyewole is accused of reneging on a promise to repay a loan of N3 million, and then faking his own death to avoid paying. He is also accused of threatening to kill the magistrate if she does not favour him in a court case.

Oyewole had pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the case had been adjourned to November 16, 2023 for hearing.
