Rhymic dance steps and songs reverberated the stratosphere all around the Opuede Federated Communities as the women, youth, elders, and High Chiefs celebrated with pomp and pageantry, the emergence of Comrade Mackson Ode as the new Trust Chairman of the Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The entire community was overwhelmed with the largesse of beautiful wrappers and cash gifts donations given to the women of the community. Also, the entire community was overjoyed to see the modern 600wtz LED Solar powered street lights donated to the community to lighten up the streets of the entire Opuede community by their illustrious son Markson Ode.

Again, the new Trust Chairman also promised to fix the community power generating set or get the community a new one before the middle of the year. Ode saw the lacked of portable pipe borne water, the collapse of the only primary school in the community, loss of socio-economic life among other things as it required immediate state of emergency.

The new trust chairman emphasized that his only purpose of accepting to take up the position as the Trust Chairman of the Opuede Federated Community is to restore the lost glory of the once economic viable Opuede which was more like the economic nerves of the entire Riverine Communities from Forcados to Gbaramatu among others.

In swift response to the allegation of taking Opuede to Ogulagha kingdom, the brave and success-driven dynamic Trust Chairman said the decision to cede Opuede to Ogulagha lied solely with the King, His Royal Majesty, Aketekpe 1 of Gbaramatu Kingdom. He explained that anyone who speculates about that surely lacked knowledge or just being petty in the traditional history of the kingdom.

He concluded by showering encomiums on His Royal Majesty, Aketekpe 1 of Gbaramatu Kingdom for his wise disposition in handling the issue regarding Opuede Federated Community.
