Orubebe finally defects to APC in Delta

Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe has finally defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta state.

According to a statement, he was joining APC to deliver all the five candidates of the party, especially the three candidates in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta in the forthcoming election.

The former Niger Delta minister admonished the Ijaw APC family over their inability to get any appointments, assuring them that he will ensure, “what is due Ijaw people will be secured.”

However, the APC Local Government Area Chairman in Burutu, Comrade Moni Seikemienghan Moni expressed gratitude to Orubebe for joining the party just as he reposed confidence that he(Orubebe) in addition is a big plus to the party.

According to him, “Ijaw Nation now have high ranking politician that will stand in the gap.”
