Outrage as Aladja/Ogbe-Ijoh militia youths lock-horns in gun fight

communities accused each other of being behind the renewed shooting by suspected militias groups in the Area.

A report making the rounds alleged that militias groups from Ogbe-Ijoh community,in Warri South West LGA launched unprovoked attacked on Aladja community in Udu local government area of Delta State on Wednesday.

But resident of Ogbe-Ijoh community (name withheld) who spoke to Congress news correspondent said it was Aladja community youths that invaded Ogbe-Ijoh community and shot two underage school pupils at about 5am on Wednesday.

The Ogbe-Ijoh resident maintained that the two school pupils shot by Aladja community youths are currently admitted in undisclosed hospital in Warri.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fresh shooting was still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

However, the incident couldn’t be confirmed by the state police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe at press time.
