Outrage as major bridge collapses in Warri

By Timi BlackOutrage in Ogbolokposo/Okoribi communities near Warri, Delta state, has bridge linking the two neighbouring Communities collapsed, following heavy downpour on Saturday evening.The incident occurred during the heavy downpour at about 4:30pm, making commuters and motorists stranded.Congress Warri correspondent learnt that several persons have been injured by the collapsed bridge.However, residents and motorists blamed the incident on substandard job done by the contractor.Meantime, they called on the governor of the state and relevant authorities to immediately fixed the collapsed bridge as the road is a major road in the area.
