Over 14 Million People Watched King Charles III Coronation – BBC

Following Saturday, May 6, 2023, King Charles III’s coronation, the report affirmed that more than 14 million people watched the event live.

According to the report, it was posited that more than 14 million individuals tuned in to their television set to watch King Charles III’s coronation on BBC television.

It was stated that at its peak, 13.4 million watched on the main BBC One channel, with not less than 11.9 million watching directly on Saturday during the event.

Another Version of BBC Two peaked recorded that not less than 1.7 million viewers watched the event on the channel.

Recall that the coronation is the first to be held in Britain in the last 70 years and the first to be televised on a colour TV screen.

King Charles III ascended the throne after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II gave up the ghost in 2022.
