Ówó APC Leaders and Elders Forum meets at Late PA Adekunle Ajasin House in Ówó under the Leadership of Hon. Jumoke Ajasin Anifowose

IN a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours and dynamism, Mrs Omowumi Isaac – the Honourable Commissioner for Finance of Ondo State graced the meeting of the cream de la crémé of Ówó Local Government politics to reaffirm their confidence in the leadership and stewardship of the Governor of Ondo State – Dr (Hon) Lucky Aiyedatiwa and also brainstorm on how to galvanize massive support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.

The gathering which took place at the residence of late Pa (Chief) Michael Adekunle Ajasin on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, was chaired by Chief (Mrs) Jumoke Ajasin – Anifowose, and the event brought together all the notable politicians in Ówó kingdom.

This Forum of Leaders and Elders of APC in Ówó Local Government Area is the political think tank of the All Progressive Congress in the kingdom.

The Forum which parades all those that matters politically in Ówó, glowingly eulogized Mr Governor for his many visible achievements and the unalloyed support he gives to their daughter – Mrs Omowumi Isaac as a serving Commissioner in the state.

The Forum also commended Aiyedatiwa for all he has been doing to lead and promote the APC and the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event which has almost all the Forum members in attendance, was purposefully organized to commend and shower praises on the state Governor’s leadership prowess and maturity and to also focus on workable plans and strategies to stimulate enormous grassroot support for President Tinubu re-election bid.

On the part of the Honourable Commissioner, one after the other, guests chronicled the many impactful interventions of the first female finance commissioner in the lives of the average citizens of Ondo State, which has made the people more APC – friendly and Tinubu – centric.

In her speech, Mrs Omowumi Isaac called on all well meaning party faithfulls to stand up and be counted on the side of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as he unwaveringly strive towards the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the Sunshine State, while also leading from the front the “Tinubu Beyond 2027” campaign army.

She challenged all those present and other Nigerians to speak up and speak out on the many laudable achievements of the Tinubu’s administration which has taken Nigeria out of the woods.

As a finance expert, she said “am qualified to pass vote of confidence in the fiscal responsibility and management policies of the Tinubu’s administration which has helped to stabilize the economy and return the country to the path of recovery and honour”.

On her part, she “pledged to remain 100 percent loyal to Mr Governor and be faithful to the service mandate she was given, and at the same vein to embark on a Door – to – Door and Person – to – Person campaign push that will deliver almost all the valid votes in Ówó kingdom and its environ to APC during the forthcoming general election”.

As part of the strategies to make sure that Tinubu has a landslide reelection victory in 2027, the Leaders and Elders came up with many beautiful and workable campaign programmes towards the realization of the Project.

The Forum Chairperson, Mrs Jumoke Ajasin – Anifowose on her part charged every party members present to queue behind Mr Governor – who is the acceptable and authentic leader of APC in Ondo State and to return to base and with the gospel of “Tinubu Beyond 2027” which the state Governor is preaching for it to go farther and wider with all the necessary enthusiasm, so as to surpass the numbers of votes recorded in 2023 for Tinubu which was one of the highest among the 774 local government areas of the federation!

The, Honourable Commissioner for Finance respectfully thanked the Forum of Leaders and Elders and again reintegrated her firm resolve to give more of herself to the service of humanity and not to betray the trust and confidence reposed in her.

In conclusion, the Forum agreed to meet again soon so as to put flesh on most of there deliberations towards a better Ówó kingdom, a more prosperous Ondo State and the landslide victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.

The meeting which was a huge success came to a close with a resolve to return soonest to another round table.
