Ozobo congratulates Sheriff over supreme court victory

Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on political matters, Comrade Ozobo Austin, has congratulated the Delta State speaker and Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over his supreme victory on Friday.

This was contained in a statement he signed and sent to a Congress correspondent in Benin, Edo State.

Ozobo said the news of Sheriff’s supreme court victory did not come as a surprise to him following the massive support the governorship candidate enjoyed from members of the PDP.

Okowa’s aide noted that the Supreme Court ruling settled every controversy surrounding the party’s governorship candidate, adding that the party and its candidate now can settle down to face the enormous tasks of preparing ahead of the 2023 election.

The governor’s aide said the victory of Sheriff should be celebrated by all party faithful, adding that there was time for everything, now a time of unity and peace.

He said if PDP should move forward, every aggrieved member must sheathe the sword in the state.

He prayed for the victory of the party and its candidate at next year’s general election in the state.
