PAP: Ex-agitators back probe exercise, harp for Dikio confirmation as substantive coordinator

•Says corrupt agitators opposed to amnesty probe exercise be prosecuted

Foremost Niger Delta agitators under the aegis of Niger Delta agitators Forum, NDAF, have thrown their weight behind the ongoing verification exercise of the presidential amnesty programme, adding that those who are opposed to the probe exercise by Col. Dikio Miland, the Interim Administrator were the corrupt ex-militant leaders scuttling the full implementation of the Programme.

This was contained in a press statement jointly signed by various 1st, 2nd and 3rd phase agitators, Hon. Pere Ejune, (Edo state leader),Hon. Ogidigba Godstime, (Edo state), Gen. Markson lsere, alia, IJB, (Rivers state), Gen. Waretimi Parker,(Bayelsa state),Gen. Ofovwei Clement, alias, Oloye, (Delta state),Gen. Lucky Jonah, alias, Oil Money, (Delta state),
Gen. Akpana Prisu,(Bayelsa state),General Abel Idolor, (Delta state), Gen. Harvest Duku, (Delta state),Gen. Jonah Abiuwenowo, (Delta state),Gen. Kenneth Kpea, (Rivers) and Gen. Aboy, Ondo State.

The pro-Dikio amnesty probe agitators had called on the security agents, DSS, EFCC and ICPC to invite corrupt ex-militants opposed to the verification exercise for investigation, interrogation and prosecution.

The ex-agitatord in a united front also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency confirmed Col. Dikio as substantive coordinator of the amnesty programme.

They insisted that the current amnesty coordinator had done well and should be confirmed to continue his good works in the amnesty programme.
