PDP celebrates historic win in Inikorogha ward 10, As Okubo loses unit to PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Inikorogha ward 10, Edo State has secured a historic victory in the ward, beating Robert Okubo, the exiled member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his ward.

It was gathered that In unit 4, Okubo’s polling station, PDP won with 92 votes to APC’s 10. This marks the first time PDP has won Okubo’s unit since Nigeria’s return to democracy.

A statement by a party official in the community reads:

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured a historic victory in Inikorogha ward 10, beating Robert Okubo’s All Progressives Congress (APC). In unit 4, Okubo’s polling station, PDP won with 92 votes to APC’s 10. This marks the first time PDP has won Okubo’s unit since Nigeria’s return to democracy”.
