PDP Congress: Amakama declares intention to run for Burutu Party chairman

Ahead of the upcoming Delta State Peoples Democratic Party state Congresses, Hon. Peremobowei Amakama, PDP Burutu Youth leader, Monday February 12, 2024, Declared his Intention to race for the PDP Burutu Local government party chairman.

Amakama declared his intention in the presence of his ward 6 leaders and party faithfuls under the leadership of Deacon Arede Edeinmene.

The declaration was made at the ward 6 leader Deacon Arede Edeinmene’s residence at Jakpa Road by Aka avenue, Effurun -Warri, Delta State.

While he was addressing the ward’s leadership, Amakama said he had worked very hard in the party as the youth leader and had a vast experience to hold firmly and pilot the party ideology.

Amakama also noted that, when he is voted as the Burutu PDP party Chairman, he would uphold the tenets of the party and would work assiduously to harmonise every well-meaning person to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

He appealed for massive support of the ward’s leadership and party faithfuls of PDP in Burutu Local Government Area during the upcoming party Congresses in the state.

In response, Deacon Arede Edeinmene, aka Agada, executive assistant to the governor of Delta State, commended Peremobowei Amakama bold steps, noting that he had really work very hard in the party.

He said such committed persons that knew the nitty-gritty of the party should be give opportunity to serve as chairman of the party, adding that Amakama is qualified to lead the party as chairman.

Also speaking, Hon. Tikuli, current SA to the Governor maintained that, he knew Amakama very well, having been colleagues in the Burutu LG legislative arm, stressing that he would give Amakama his full support in the party chairmanship race.

The leadership of the ward prayed for him and urged him to consult widely among other leaders in Burutu LGA.
