The legal adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Burutu LGA, Delta State, Cleric Alaowei, Esq has raised the alarm of threat to life by suspected persons in Ward 7 following the unfortunate outcome of the just concluded re-run election in the ward.

Recall, the lawyer had expressed his displeasure concerning the PDP’s loss at the Burutu Constituency I rerun election, especially in unit 8 of Ngbilebiri I, Ward 7.

He had earlier accused some trusted men of the PDP candidate of the re-run to be responsible for the defeat of the party in the ward.

The statement reads,
“Fellow compatriots, I want to use this medium to inform the general public that people are threatening my life maybe because I spoke my mind concerning the PDP’s loss at the Burutu Constituency I rerun election, especially the one involved unit 8 of Ngbilebiri I, Ward 7.

“Security agents and the general public should please take note. These persons are now monitoring my movements. Some are even planning to blackmail me. I know their plans but God passed them. The general public should know that my life is under threat. Those nurturing the evil plans should know that nothing is hidden under the carpet. God is watching all of us. This information is for the general public to note that people are nursing evil plans against me for daring to air my displeasure on the fate of the ruling PDP in the State.”
