PDP ward women leader Beatrice Godfrey congratulates Delta speaker, Emomotimi Guwor

A women leader of Idun Tamara-amain unit 41 in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State Mrs Beatrice Godfrey has congratulated Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor for being elected as speaker of Delta State House of Assembly.

This was revealed in a statement she signed by herself and a copy was sent to a Congress news correspondent on Wednesday.

The women leader under the umbrella of Team Sylvester said Guwor’s victory is well deserved, adding that Guwor’s victory is for all Deltans and Ijaws in the state.

The statement reads, “We are happy that our brother is now the speaker of Delta State House of Assembly.

“We celebrate him, it is our prayers that he succeeds in administering people-oriented bills and laws.”

However, Mrs Godfrey appealed to him to encourage women and carry young ladies in the creeks along in the MORE agenda of the state government.

She further emphasized, “Delta state government should encourage young women in the creeks. We have so many young ladies with brain and vision wasting away in the creeks.”
