The paramount ruler accused them of promoting disunity among indigenes and chiefs of the kingdom, instead of using their offices as chiefs to promote oneness among the people.

The Pere emphasized this during his council of chiefs meeting held in the palace, explaining that the de-robing of Chief Mathew Debole and suspension of the others became necessary following their gross misconduct and abuse of office.

HRM Polokowei urged the general public not to further have dealings with them on the strength of their former offices.

He, however, warned them not to parade themselves as Chiefs in the kingdom to avoid further punishment.

The traditional ruler called out all indigenes to remain peaceful and work in unity and harmony for the advancement of the kingdom.
