Personalities converge to sympathize with Alaowei Cleric Over Mother’s Demise

Following the demise of the mother of a legal practitioner and human rights activist, Alaowei Cleric, personalities and leaders of Burutu Local Government Area converged to sympathize with him on Thursday.

Congress gathered that top government functionaries and other personalities visited Alaowei Cleric’s home to commiserate with him over the death of his mother.

Some of the dignitaries were, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Funkekeme Solomon, former Senior Political Adviser to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele, Chairman Burutu Local Government Council, Mr. Paul Kurugbe, Member, SUBEB, Mr. Godwin Edumogiren, former Chairman PDP Burutu Local Government Chapter, Comrade Ozobo Austin, immediate past Special Assistant to the governor, Hon. Lawson Ogei, Vice Chairman PDP Burutu Local Government Area Chapter, Hon. Sunny Perekeme, Secretary Burutu Local Government Council, Chief Robert Afruku, Chief Francis Amaowei, Hon. Ayabotu Otoro, councilor representing Ayakoromo ward and others personalities.

It would be recalled that Mama Rachel Alaowei (nee Okodomufa) died on Friday after a brief illness following a prompt medical attention.

It was also gathered that out-door condolence visit at his residence, Ejirue Avenue by Pepper Fish Junction, New Layout, Off Jakpa Road, Ekpan-Warri would close by Monday 26th of June, 2023.
