Taraba State Police Command has announced the arrest of suspected armed robbers alleged to have been terrorizing some parts of the state.

The command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abdullahi Usman disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists.

He said the suspects were caught by the agents of Kofai Police headquarters and joined to Sunkani Division in the Ardo-Kola Nearby Government chamber.

He gave the names of the captured suspects as Joseph Desmind, Swaibu Sambu, Danladi Ibrahim and Douglas John.

While Desmond and John hail from the adjoining Adamawa, Sambu and Ibrahim are indigenes of Taraba State.

The suspects, as indicated by the explanation, have been threatening and looting understudies and networks around the Taraba State College Jalingo.

“The suspects upon capture have admitted to the wrongdoing, and they are giving valuable data to the Police that will prompt the capture of their associates now at large,” he said.

The order likewise exposed the gossip getting out and about that north of 100 people were on Saturday night along Punch Street, and said just two people were kidnapped.
