Police dislodge rampaging cultists in Rivers

Three yet-to-be-identified suspected cult members disturbing the peace if the Udebu community in Rivers state has been killed by the men of Nigeria police, Ahoada Police Division.

According to the report, there is a gun battle between the police officers and the cult gang members.

It was reported that the men of Nigeria police had earlier apprehended some cult members, as this doesn’t go well with others, they mobilized and engaged in a supremacy gun battle with the police officers.

However, three out of the gang members were gunned down, while a young man identified as Bright and two others were seriously wounded during the gun battle.

It was that a young man identified as Ikechukw Utiru, also known as Old School ran away with a bullet wound.

Weapons recovered from them include a fabricated G3 rifle, a pistol with AK47 ammunition and charms.

The development was confirmed by the Rivers State police command spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe Koko.

He asserted that indeed the cult members were fatally injured by the police in Udebu during a gun duel.
