President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, June 1, held the first security meeting with service chiefs.
Mr president met with the chiefs at the state House in Abuja, the country’s Federal Capital.
The Service Chiefs were led by Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor.
Mr president met with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya; the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao and the inspector General of Police, Usman Baba.
Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, the meeting held between president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the service chiefs on Thursday June 1, is the first meeting being held.
However, the reason for the meeting is yet to be disclosed as at time of this report.
