Residents of Ijaw community commend Ezekiel for donating solar lights

Residents of the ancient Ijaw speaking, Gbeoba community in Ovia South West Local government Area of Edo state has commended Comrade (Hon)Ezekiel Daniel for donating solar lights to the community.

Congress gathered that the community was in total darkness and political neglect over the years before it received the donation of solar lights from Hon. Daniel Ezekiel.

In a brief statement by the community chairman Mr Christopher Tutu and youth president Mr Ogidigba keneboyegha conveyed the gratitude and overwhelming joy of the entire community to the donor Comrade Ezekiel.

According to them, solar lights were one of the pressing needs of the community over the years, adding that the attention of politicians representing the area and relevant stakeholders in the community had been drawn severally but no one responded until Ezekiel prevailed.

The statement reads partly, “My one and only Aluta of the universe, the only man that can chase a lion out of his den, thank you very much for this kind gesture for providing solar lights to our community, God Bless you Hon Ezekiel Daniel”.

The community described the charitable gesture as impressive and a move to improve the developmental pursuit of the community.
