Rights Activist, Ndoni pays condolence visit to Barrister Smooth over death of 5 band members

Niger Delta Activist and president of Ojobo Liberation Movement OLM, Comrade Timipre Ndoni has led a delegation to visit Barrister Smooth, aka, the paddle of Niger Delta over the demise of his five band members on Abuja _Lakoja expressways in May 11.

Speaking at the visit, Ndoni said the delegation was to condole and strengthen him of the tragedy that had befallen the Ijaw music icon, Barrister Smooth.

He said, “I led a delegation to visit the Niger Delta Highlife music king, Chief Barrister Smooth at his Warri residence over the passing on of his five band members which equally are illustrious sons and daughter of Ijaw nation.

“We are here to energize  and encourage him to find solace in God, it is not a easy for a man to loose five band members in a day.

“The incident which occured on 11th June 2023 is a big blow to Ijaw nation, we were thrown to deep agony and confusion”, he lamented.

He sympathized with Barrister Smooth to put everything that had happened behind him and move on, narrating that only God that can interpret what had happened.

Ndoni said the legacy of the fallen heroes of the Ijaw highlife music industry would be forever remembered, adding that even if they are dead ,their good works are still very afresh in the mind of well-meaning stakeholders and leaders in Niger Delta.

Ndoni added, “It is our prayer that may God almighty give Barrister Smooth and other family members of the victims the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
