The group in a statement tagged: Yem Africa Condemns The Alleged Murder of Sylvester Oromoni, Demands for justice said: “It is painful and disheartening to see that the 12-year-old Oromoni, who hailed from Delta State, was alleged to have been attacked by some of his senior colleagues for refusing to join a cult group”.

“We express our shock and sadness over the death of Sylvester Oromoni Junior and send our condolence to his family.

“It is painful and disheartening to see that the 12-year-old, who hailed from Delta State, was alleged to have been attacked by some of his senior colleagues for refusing to join a cult group.

“As an organization, we condemn this alleged barbaric act of; cultism, attempt to lure the boy into cultism, bulling and murder by some senior colleagues of late Sylvester.

“We equally condemn in strong terms, the attempt by the school authority through that untruthful statement to mislead members of the public. It is sad to see that the school authority that is supposed to instill moral and discipline on its students can shamefully and disgracefully attempt to cover the truth surrounding the death of a student in its school.

“As an organization, we demand that security agencies should get to the root of the matter and ensure that Justice is served.

“This alleged murder is an open wound that can only be healed when those alleged to be perpetrators of this barbaric act are arrested and prosecuted

“We wish to commend the Lagos State Government for closing the school indefinitely while commending all those that condemned the murder and demanding for justice for Sylvester”.

Thank you so much for joining in seeking for justice for the death of Sylvester. My heart is almost failing for the Parents especially the Mum of Sylvester. This kind of experience is one of the reasons some of us allow our kids to school from our homes. Justice must speak the blood and destiny of Oromoni Sylvester Junior is too pure to be wasted
