Russian flagship hit in the Black Sea by Ukrainian artillery

Unease in Europe on Thursday as Russia’s flagship Cruiser Moskva was allegedly bombed by a Ukrainian missile at the black sea.

It was learnt the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the Russian flagship cruiser Moskva was sunk in the Black Sea off southern Ukraine, according to Russia’s defence ministry.

But it was still unclear whether the ship was hit by a Ukrainian missile. However, Ukraine had claimed responsibility. Meanwhile, Russia continued that it was a fire on board and then a “stormy sea conditions.”

Consequently, the former CIA director David Petraeus had described Russia’s admission as a “rare moment of truth … which he said: ” I’m surprised that they admitted it,” he added in a BBC interview.
