SAF embarks on sanitation exercise to mark Martin Luther King Jnr day in Delta

The Shedrack Agediga Foundation with other sister NGOs have embarked on environmental sanitation exercise at Effurun-Warri, Delta State to mark this year’s Martin Luther King Jnr day which was tagged: “Creating beloved Community”.SAF and others observed the day by participating in massive community service by visiting the popular and ever busy Effurun market in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state, where an environmental sanitation exercise was carried out.The president and coordinator of the SAF, Amb. Shedrack Agediga was flanked in the exercise by Hon. Sheriff Mulade, CEO/Coordinator CEPEJ, Comrade Rex Anighoro SSA to the governor of Delta state on Civil society, Hon. Comrade Ozobo Austin, Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on political matters, chairman Uvwie environmental committee, representatives of ministry of health, Uvwie LGA, IYC western zone, Delta Ijaw comrade community, members of the press and others.The event was colourful as SAF and others make concerted efforts to evacuate waste and clean up the entire market.The exercise which began from 7:30am lasted till 11am on Monday morning.The participants which was led by SAF took a long walk from Tegaton Hotel in Jakpa road to Effurun market, which is about a distance of 1.5km.However, various persons who spoke at the event thanked Shedrack Agediga Foundation for their meritorious humanitarian services.
