Sit-At-Home: Five Killed In Abatete, Abagana, Ukpo Communities in Anambra

The Communities in Anambra Central Senatorial Zone have been attacked by the rebellious sit-at-home enforcers, wreaked havoc and killed five people on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, the attacks happened around 8am and 10am in Abatete, Abagana and Ukpo communities leaving five persons dead.
A source disclosed that the Anambra state Vigilantes were reportedly the most casualties.
The gunmen first assaulted Abatete town, targeting vigilante personnel attached to the town’s President-General (PG).
However, three security personnel were shot and killed in the bullets rampage, adding that some were critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
In separate incidents, the gunmen attacked Abagana and Ukpo communities.
At the Ukpo roundabout, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of the state, a Vigilante officer and a motorcycle rider were also killed.
Meantime, there is tension around Anambra Central Communities
A voice note currently going viral on social media warning people from Awka not to come out, considering the closeness of the killings in the communities to Awka, the state capital.
“We are praying for the recovery of our PG. This senseless violence has left our community shaken.”
“It was chaos. The attackers came out of nowhere, shooting sporadically and Shouting no Biafra, no freedom. We are still trying to process what happened.”
The spokesperson, SP said: “The details are still sketchy, but our operatives are currently at the scene. I will get back to you with facts as soon as I can”, he added.
