The Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) is thrilled to commend the organizers of the Youth Activity Dashboard launch, which took place on December 17, 2024, at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was a significant milestone in the journey towards empowering Nigerian youths.

SWUYN was honoured to be officially invited to the launch by the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring, and Delivery, Hon. Miss Titilope Gbadamosi.

In a statement by the group’s national president Comr. Preye V. Tambou added, “Our organization was ably represented by Amb. Comr. Ezonfade Daniel OKRINGO, Secretary of the FCT chapter, and Comr. Alawode Ariyikeade Oluwabukola, FCT Public Relation Officer and Chief of Staff to our National President, Comr. Preye Tambou”.

The keynote address, delivered by the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Engr. Olawande Ayodele, highlighted the crucial role of innovation in youth development. The overview of the Youth Activity Dashboard, presented by Hon. Titilope Gbadamosi, demonstrated the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

According to them, “the Youth Activity Dashboard is a game-changer for Nigerian youths, providing a platform for them to register and track programs beneficial to them at the federal, state, and local government levels. “With 896 government interventions available, this dashboard bridges the gap between youths and opportunities”.

SWUYN lauded the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at bringing transparency to all sectors of Nigerian life. “We are excited to see the impact of this initiative and look forward to collaborating with the government and other stakeholders to empower Nigerian youths”.

“Once again, we commend the organizers of the Youth Activity Dashboard launch and encourage all Nigerian youths to take advantage of this innovative platform. Visit ( https://yid.fmyd.gov.ng/) to register and start tracking opportunities today!”,the group reiterated.
