The Nigerian army has neutralized suspected gunmen believed to be members of IPoB in eastern Nigeria.
The success was made by the 34 Artillery Brigade when they burst into the criminals’ hideouts near Orlu-Orsu in Imo State.
According to the army spokesperson, the troops of the 34 Artillery Brigade had neutralized gunmen and arrested suspected members of the proscribed indigenous people of Biafra and Eastern Security Network in Imo State along Orlu-Orsu.
The Army Spokesperson further said on its Twitter handle update, said the feat was recorded after a fierce gun battle on Monday along Orlu Orsu road.
The army who warned trouble makers to steer clear from Imo and other parts of the eastern states noted that it may deal with any criminal element that may ferment trouble.
