Tears as fatal road crash kills 6, injures 3 others

Tears flowed as about six wedding guests died and three others were seriously injured in a ghastly auto crash in Jigawa state.

The incident reportedly occurred on Monday around 11:30 am along Hadejia-Kano road in Hadejia Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Congress gathered that the victims were returning from a marriage when the sad incident happened.

The victims reportedly accompanied a bride at her husband’s house and were returning home when the driver lost control and somersaulted.

The Jigawa police command spokesperson, DSP Lawal Adam, narrated that the driver of the vehicle which had eight persons inside, lost control of the wheel and the vehicle somersaulted several times, leading to the death of the six occupants, adding that others injured are being treated in an undisclosed hospital in the state.
