Tinubu swears in RMAFC Commissioner, Akwor

The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) Commissioner, Ambassador Desmond Akawor, was sworn in by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting for 2024 got underway at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja, but not before Akawor was sworn in.

Before the president appointed him, Akawor served as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State.

Akawor was recently vetted by the Senate for the new role after he resigned as Rivers State’s PDP Chairman following his appointment.
