President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has once more emphasised that numerous local refineries are set to launch the manufacturing of petroleum products.
Recall that the President declared that the Port Harcourt refinery would resume operations by December 2023 shortly after taking office.
At the weekend’s 11th Convocation ceremony of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), the President made a suggestion that the high cost of gasoline would go down once the nearby refineries start up.
“Very soon, some of our local refineries will start production, and the current exorbitant prices of fuel energy will be greatly reduced,” he said.
