The government of the United States of America has imposed sanctions on over 120 individuals and entities around the world over their ties to Russia’s war in Ukraine.

This was revealed in a report by the UK Guardian news on Wednesday.

The report stated that the sanctions cut across over 20 countries, including
a private military company, a China-based firm and entities linked to Russia’s state-owned nuclear energy company Rosatom.

According to the US, the latest sanctions were to checkmate the excesses of Russian activities in Ukraine.

The statement reads, “The sanctions targeted people and entities across more than 20 countries and jurisdictions, including a private military company, a China-based firm and entities linked to Russia’s state-owned nuclear energy company Rosatom.”
